Strippers in 3D

I went to a strip club with Douche Bag last night.

I started the night downtown with HC, HB and a few of the hispter crew. We went to a super cool 3D concert being held in some old downtown buildings ballroom. I had speeded my way home to change so that I could join them. I threw on a black dress with my vintage multi colored jacket. It has fur around the collar and cuffs. Makes me feel like Foxy Brown. I slipped on my knee high brown leather boots and out the door I ran.

The concert was sold out.  Homeless Boyfriend scored me a ticket, but it almost didn't work. We hadn't realized that the actual tickets were the black rimmed 3D glasses everyone was walking around with. I ran up to the booth window where Astro Boy was collecting his specs. The two of us double teamed the ticket seller and finally convinced her that giving me a pair of glasses was better than watching me cry. She handed them over with a wink and a side of 'get the hell out of here'.

We walked into the ballroom. High ceilings with low-hung chandeliers. There was a stage at the end with a large screen placed behind a DJ booth.  There were two performers on the stage rapping against deep house music.  We squeezed our way up to the front of the stage where the Street Artist and the rest of the hipster crew were dancing. The second we hit the stage lip the performers on the stage shot off two guns full of confetti. We all screamed in appreciation and danced through the colorful snow. We pass out hugs to each other and then quieted down as the lights began to dim and the screen began to glow. We see an explosion of lights and floating boxes and snakes and a whole zoo of shapes and patterns. The singer danced around the stage seemingly just missing the floating madness around him. Every few minutes they would throw glow sticks into the crowd. I grabbed a handful and stuck them into my pony tail. It was a trip. Fun.

When the concert was over we all headed up a flight of stairs to a hidden bar. It was gorgeous inside. Low ceilings with dark floors and intricate carved moldings with baby cupid faces placed at the corners of the room. I felt like I was in the inside of the Titanic or something. There were 3 black women on the stage belting out honey-like harmonies. To the right they had two chicks doing nail art. Hippie Chick and I walked over to get our nails done. Well, a nail done. They wanted $3 finger. One would do. Street Artist walks over and wants in on the nail time action. He takes a seat and gets some art done on his finger too. Man he's cute.
We chilled for a bit until we tired and then decided to head out.

I called up Glasses to see where he was at. I was supposed to meet up with him tonight but I got carried away downtown.

"I'm at Douchebags, come down." he tells me.

I have him text me the address and I head over after dropping off Hippie Chick and Homeless Boyfriend at The Plex.

I pull up to Douchebags and call Glasses again to get the apartment number.
"Oh we left," he says. "We are across the street at the strip club."

Really? No thanks.

"Dude, I don't want to go to the strip club. I'll just catch you guys later." I tell him.

"No no, come down. It'll be fun I swear. Just come," he pleads with me.

Fine fine fine. I agree and cruise back around the block and land in front of the flashing boobies sign. Glasses is standing outside the club with Partyboy. Man I can't seem to shake this guy. I reach into my back seat and grab Partyboy's sweater and hat. He left the hat at The Plex the night before and forgot to grab his sweater from my car. Again.

"Dude, take these. I have a freaking Partyboy shrine in my car right now."

Partyboy walks over unsteadily and takes his things. Then after a few tries and misses plants a kiss on my cheek. Drunk. Again. Predictable.

I give Glasses a hug and we head inside the club. The whole PartyGuy crew is in the entryway. A mixture of girls and guys that all live in the same apartment as Douchebag. I see a few of them with glowsticks around their wrists and necks. "Downtown?" one of the guys asks me. I still have my glow time fun in my hair and I drove the whole way over still wearing my 3D glasses.

"Hell yeah," I respond giving him a high five."How amazing was that concert?"

The group responds in the affirmative. We start gabbing about the 3D action when Douchebag comes up behind me. "Hey you," he says giving me a hug...and a double pat on the ass.

Agh! I hate that. Do not touch my ass unless invited buddy.
He walks back away and continues haggling with the door guy to get us all in. They finally come to an agreement and we all walk into the club.

It's pretty much what I expected. Red velvet seats, a few booths against the wall and two runways with poles down the center. There are neon lights spaced out on the walls and lining the stage. Looks way cool through my 3D glasses. I decide to keep them on. The place is pretty empty so it's really just the strippers and us. We all take a seat in the booths against the wall. Partyboy plants himself next to me. He always seems to gravitate my way when I'm around. Old habits die hard I guess.

Douchebag is running around being the party director as usual. His trademark leather jacket is on with that same thin layer of sweat across his lip. He really should think about buying a lighter jacket. Every few he punctuates a sentence with, "That's what she said." It's hilarious. I find him so entertaining at times. It doesn't even bother me that he talks trash about me. It's just his way. Like I said, at least he's consistent.

I look over at him now and see that he has his face in a strippers ass. Literally in her ass. I turn to one of the girls in our group and tell her to remind me not to let him kiss me goodbye when I leave. She laughs and right before she gives me a response my view gets blocked by Partyboy. He has leaned over and is resting his weight on my lap. He's so funny with me. I don't really consider him a friend. I don't think I ever will. I'm not really into being friends with people I've fooled around with. It's too weird. But he's drunk so I leave him be. At least he's quiet and not acting a fool.  He only stays that way for about 10 minutes. Then he leans back against the booth and promptly passes out.

"We should all get up and just leave him," says the same PartyGuy's girl.

I laugh and tell her let's do it. I'm totally lying of course. I would never leave him like that. We aren't together but I still care. Bottom line is he has been very sweet and respectful to me during these last few weeks. Whatever connection we had is still there, so for now, I'll help babysit.

Just then a stripper comes up to me and rubs her almost completely naked body against my arm. She's warm and attractive and has the whole seductress look down to a science. "I'm so going to steal that look," I think to myself.

"Do you want a lap dance?" she asks me.

Kind of. I mean I'm not gay at all. I've never experimented with any girl on girl action before but if I did I would totally go for this chick.

"No I'm good but I'm sure one of the guys would," I tell her instead. Honestly I would have to be really drunk and not in the company of my Besty Glasses or the pervy eyes of Douchebag to do something like that.

"Which one is really horny?" she asks me.

"Well me," I think in my head. Instead I point to Douchebag who is standing in front of the table talking to his adoring Party gang. She walks over and wraps herself around him. He reaches down and gives her ass his trademark double tap. Ew. Now he's totally ruined  her for me.

I look over at Partyboy. The guy is actually snoring. Leave it to him to pass out at 4am in a strip club with 12 other people partying around him. I pull out one of my glow sticks and place it behind his ear wishing I had tinsel so I could continue decorating him.

It's almost closing time so everyone starts to get up and leave. Glasses and I both look at Partyboy who is still snuggled comfortably in his seat. "Not it!,"I yell at Glasses tagging his shoulder. He laughs and then walks away. Ass.

I turn towards Partyboy and shake his leg. Nothing. I reach up and pat the side of his face. That does it.
"Let' go PB. We're leaving. Put on your sweater." I tell him.

He slowly sits up and starts to put his sweater on under his jacket. He is moving at a snail's pace. I look over at Glasses who is laughing at me from the doorway. I glare at him and then turn back to help Partyboy get his shit together. He finally manages to get his jacket back on. I grab his phone and tuck it into his pocket. Man did I dodge a bullet with this guy or what? Sweet dude but he's a total mess.

We head out of the club and the two of them jump in my car. We pull back up to Douchebags place, where I decide to say my goodbyes. Its 4 am and time for me to hit the hay. I let Partyboy get out and I turn to Glasses to give him a hug goodbye.

"Tomorrow dudey? Super bowl?" I tell him.

"Yes, for sure. Call me when you're on your way," He tells me.

You got it Besty. See you tomorrow. And this, time no strip clubs.

Bloody Hell

I'm going to kill Glasses.

The two of us hadn't gone out in a while so we made plans to kick it on Thursday night. We were playing it mellow so I just threw on a pair of black skinny jeans, a brown belt, and my knee high brown leather boots with a matching leather bomber jacket. I topped the outfit off with a long feather necklace. Too bad it's night time. A pair of aviator glasses would be perfect.

We kicked it in the Hollywood Hills at his friend's house for a bit. Had a few drinks and helped him put together some IKEA furniture. Around midnight I got a call from Hippy Chick letting me know that her and Homeless Boyfriend were having a little kick back at The Plex.

That's what we call the new Duplex that we are all renting together. They found a 2000 square foot 3 bedroom duplex in what's known as the Miracle Mile area. The original roommate bailed out last minute so I was top of the list for roomy candidates. After checking out the place I fell in love. It's an old building from the 1920's. Huge living room with wood floors, a dining room, large kitchen with a breakfast nook. And my bedroom is double the size of the one I have now. I'm super excited to not be living alone anymore.  I'm even more excited to move somewhere that Nutty as a Fruitcake can't find me. Stalkers can be hard to shake sometimes but this ought to do it.

We cruise over and I give Glasses the tour. He's loving it. He and I are kicking it in HC's bedroom when my phone rings. It's The Kid. I couldn't believe my eyes. The Kid never calls me. He'll text me for days but actual phone calls? Never.

I do a little kick in the air and answer the phone.

"Whats up Chica?",he asks me.

He sounds super sick. Guess we partied a little too hard while he was here.  We start to chit chat a bit when Glasses asks to speak with him. I laugh and hand over the phone.  It's funny, when we left Glasses friends house he seemed pretty sober, but the man was getting drunker and drunker by the minute.  He starts to speak to The Kid with a British accent. I ignore the conversation and turn back to HC.

"Dude, this is so weird. The Kid never calls. I think this is like the second time ever." I'm telling her.

Meanwhile I hear Glasses,"Bloody hell...you should come back...right now. I'll buy your bloody ticket..."

"Really?" she responds to me.

"Yeah. I wonder if its because I sent him that blog. He's like feeling all attached now." I say

After I wrote 'The Kid - The beginning', I sent him a copy. He was blown aways by my detail. It was a long time ago. But more than that he and I don't talk about our feelings. Ever. I honestly don't think he's ever even told me that he likes me. I mean obviously I know he does. He's just has never said it. And for the most part neither have I.  So reading that must have been a trip for him...and a positive one at that.

Glasses has started to curse like he's Ozzy, so I walk over to him to take the phone back.
He hands it to me and says, "Tell him I'll buy his ticket to come back."

"Glasses says he will buy your ticket if you want to come back." I repeat.

The Kid laughs then shocks the hell out of me saying, "I can't come now but I'll probably be there in a couple of weeks."

What?! No freaking way. The Kid here? Again?

"Are you kidding me? Really?" I ask him surprised.

"Yeah. My brother wants to come down too." he says.

I walk into the other room to hear him better. I love his brother. It would be awesome to have them both down.  What a trip. The Kid is like coming out every month to see me now. What does that mean? Whatever. We will never talk about it so I'll let it go.

After I wrap up the conversation and we say our goodnights, I go back into HC's room to find her and Glasses talking about The Kid.

"I wasn't impressed," I hear her saying.

"What are you two talking about?" I ask.

"The Kid," says Glasses."We think you can do better."

I laugh, "Better than what? It's who I have. The only constant in my life. For a while now."

"I don't know, " says HC,"I don't see you with him. I mean Goodtimes was cool, but The Kid? I see you with someone more like Partyboy."

I roll my eyes but I know why she is confused. The Kid isn't my normal kind of guy. I like the Kooks. I like the guys who are just slightly off and more than a little nutz. Nutty as a Friutcake, Goodtimes and Partyboy fit my type perfectly. The Kid on the other hand? Super mellow. He gets involved when out partying but he is definitely more reserved. Which is why I think I liked him when we first met him. At the time I was in the middle of a crazy divorce. The end of my marriage was such chaos. The Kid was a welcome reprieve. He calmed me.

Just then Partyboy calls. He's off work and wants to come kick it. I shake my fist at the universe and then text him back the address.

"Yep, I don't think things are done between you two," she says to me.

"Dude, he has his girl in Vegas. He and I are done. There is no option there. So I'll continue with who actually wants to be in my life." I tell her as she looks at me disapprovingly. I laugh, "Look. I'll admit it was interesting having The Kid here in my space. It did make me realize that he doesn't really fit in my world."

It was true. I mean the people I hang out with are loud and fun creative artist. Even myself. I manage a business, I'm a professional dancer, I write, I sing and I have a rockin loud goodtime with my friends. The Kid will kick it anywhere I am and have a good time, but he isn't a ring leader like the rest of us. I'm used to my guys being the life of the party or at the very least the comic relief.

"I think that if he and I lived in the same state we probably wouldn't be together." I tell her, "But the fact that he is out of state keeps it fresh. It's always a start over when I see him. Besides, he takes care of me. I didn't pay for a damn thing when the boys were here. He's considerate, and looks after me. Partyboy is just like Nutty as a Fruitcake and Huge Asshole. He's a guy I'd have to take care of. Not a guy that will take care of me."

"I get that," she tells me, "I just think we need to keep looking for you."

She knows me too well. The casual observer would think that I WAS looking. I date a ton. But she knows as well as I do that I'm just doing it for WCC.  These guys hold very little interest for me.

She begins to talk about Partyboy again when I look towards the door and make her stop. Partyboy will be here any minute. The last thing I want is for him to hear us talking about him. Or worse, for him to hear about WCC. I learned my lesson with The Creeper. The characters I write about can never know. Like I said, men are sensitive creatures that can't handle shit.

HC is getting tired so Glasses and I leave her be and head into the kitchen with the rest of the crew. I grab Glasses black rimmed specs and put them on. I hop up onto the kitchen counter and relax. Just then the front door bell rings. Here he is. Homeless Boyfriend goes to let him in.

He walks in passing out hello's in an accent. Man these guys are funny. This one is definitely the comic relief. I see his eyes fall on me and that's when I see it. The Flash. The same one he had when I first looked up at him from within his arms on New Years. Interesting.

We give him the tour. He is loving it as well. The Plex rocks.
He looks down at me and says, "Are those Glasses?" referring to the glasses on my face.
"Yeah," I say.

"I thought you looked different," he says.
Good one Sherlock, "Can I see them?"

I hand them over and he puts them on. That's the problem with these metro guys. He must have thought I looked cute in the glasses so pretty boy decided he wanted to look good too. God I could never date a rockstar. I'd have to put a lock on my closet and put my makeup in a safe.

We hang at the house for another hour or so. The guys are goofing about and smoking out. I'm sober as usual and just taking in the scene. Finally HB says his good nights so we all head out. I won't be moving in till next weekend. By this time Glasses is good and tanked so we try to take his keys from him. There is no way his ass is driving.  But the guy is resisting.

The guy is so drunk that he has moved passed drunky land and thinks that he has landed on the other side into Soberworld. But I know better. He keeps asking me to let him drive and I just keep repeating no.  I ask Partyboy if he's sober enough to drive. He slurs some sort of yes with a side of, I'm really stoned.

"That's it," I say. "Both of you get your asses in my car. I'm driving."

Thankfully the boys follow my commands and hop in. Partyboy is hungry so I stop by McDonalds. As Partyboy is ordering Glasses starts yelling slurred curse words at the menu. It's funny as hell but I stop him anyways so that we don't get any spit in our food.

As I pull away Partyboy reaches over and gives my shoulders a squeeze, "Thanks for stopping for food. You're a doll."

Uh ok. Why do guys think that we give a shit for thank you's like these? Is he trying to come across as sweet or just polite? I take it as neither. I'm not the type of girl who needs words of appreciation. Show me, don't tell me. But this guy has nothing to show so just eat your mcnuggets and shut your trap dudey.

We get back to the Hills and Glasses turns on the fireplace. The guys finished eating in the car and have started to get their drink back on. I don't know how they do it. 2 drinks and I tap out, but these two? Well the Partyguys have me beat hands down.

Partyboy is sitting on the couch texting. I can only assume it's his girl. Then he asks Glasses, "So you are going to help me entertain my friends when they come down next weekend right?" Yep. His girl.

Ew. Seriously? I mean he was still giving me smooches less than a week ago and he's already talking about his chick in front of me? Learn the rules dude. Too soon.  The Kid and I have this open dating thing down to a science. He has had his relationships and so have I. But we never talk about it in front of each other. There is an unspoken respect that we give each other. That goes for anyone for that matter. No matter how many people I may be dating I never let those relationships touch the one I'm with. I'm good at it. Each guy believes that I am hopelessly devoted to them. I'm an amazing multi tasker.

But here Partyboy is reading a text from her asking if he has a Valentines date. I'm not enjoying what I'm feeling. He's making me feel like I was the one who was keeping him warm until he got back to his girl. Not cool.

I get up to leave. I'd rather go home and talk some shit in my blog than listen to this. The boys aren't having it. Glasses runs over and plops me back down on the couch. Partyboy echos his pleads to stay. Men. They never know what they want.

I stay for a bit longer. Glasses is bouncing around the room and Partyboy is falling asleep sitting up next to the fireplace. He stands up announcing that he is going to try to find some wine in the bar. But instead he plops his weight across my lap ass up....and stays there.

So here I am, its 4am, Glasses is dancing around the room and Mr. Narcolepsy is passing out across my lap with his ass in my face. I so asked for this. I should have went home.

"Whats up Partyboy...Partyboy...I bet you don't know nothin about WCC," Glasses starts taunting Partyboy.

"Glasses! Shut up, " I hiss under my breath.

"She killed you. WCC, she killed you," he continues.

It's funny as hell. He keeps repeating,"you don't know about WCC...WCC, you don't know. WCC...WCC"
He keeps repeating WCC, with a nod of his head to punctuate each letter. He sounds like Yogi the bear.

"Glasses! You're going to get Peter Parker killed dammit." I tell him.

Luckily for me Partyboy is drifting into sleep and honestly isn't all that bright anyways. This all sounds like drunken gibberish to him and I'm thankful. I don't want him to know.  Not because I think he'll freak out but I don't want to take the chance that I'll start to sensor what I'm writing because I know he's reading. The beauty of all this is that I can write without any inhibitions. I put down every surface thought that runs across my head. With little or no thought to consequences. This is just me rambling for the masses.

I had nothing to worry about. Partyboy's breathing has deepened and he's out like a light.  I start to squeeze my way out from under him. After a struggle and a little drunken assistance from Glasses I finally manage my way out from under him.

I give Glasses a big hug and head on home. Strange night. Hippie Chick really made me think.

I realized a few things. The Kid is not the one. He is my right now. Or better yet he is my sometimes. But I don't have a One. Partyboy is a hoot but I've already tired of his drunken antics.  I know these new guys won't fit the bill. The Highlander is too much of a considerate suit. I like some bite in my men. I just found out that 10 Points models on the side. Ew. I hate models. Nutty as a Fruitcake used to model and left a bad taste in my mouth. Now Monkeyboy? Not sure yet. He is flying to Australia soon to direct a music video. He is definitely a creative which I like, but I'm not sure if the chemistry is there. I like my men tall and large. Lumberjacks. I like to be manhandled so a guy needs to have the size to make that happen.

I might be going out with Monkeyboy tomorrow night. Should be interesting. My old characters are getting stale so I look forward to introducing the new. And who knows? Maybe there will be a click?

Oh who am I kidding? I'm not ready for a click. But I could use a little fooling around action.  Four days of consistent sex left me a little worse for wear.  God being in my 30's sucks without a decent outlet. I'm wishing the Kid lived here again.

Two more weeks and I can get my kicks. I'll just have to hold out till then.

And as for you Glasses? Keep my secret just that. Secret. Or I'll have to kill your ass off too.

Kiiddddddiiinngg. You're my boo. I'll take care of you anytime you're drunky poo. I'll just have to tape your mouth shut next time.

Cravings

Man its freezing ass in my house tonight...

For the first time in a long while I'm home at a decent hour. I played it mellow last night and just shot the shit with Glasses at his house for a few hours. I decided to be a good girl tonight and came straight home after work.

Still feeling a bit blue. Lonely to be exact.  I was spoiled for 4 days with The Kid,so readjusting to being single again has been hard. Not that I don't have plenty of boys to talk to. I have 3 new characters in the works as we speak. I call them 10 Points, Monkeyboy and The Highlander.  The Highlander is by far my favorite. Super shy, totally considerate and hot as all hell. A deadly combination...for him, not me. I hope I don't hurt him. He seems like a sweet guy.

But they're all a poor substitute for a true connection. I mean they amuse me to death, but as far as something deeper? None of them have a shot in hell. It's hard to find someone that you truly connect with. True chemistry is rare. Sometimes we think we find it but then it fades. Which means it wasn't real in the first place. I'm missing the kind of intimacy that never fades. The kind that grows stronger over time.

You know the kind I'm talking about.

I'm looking for that guy that gives me butterflies every time he enters the room. Even if he just stepped out for a moment. The kind of guy that makes me giddy. The kind of guy that I want to text a photo to every time I think I look hot. The kind of man that I can crave. Day in. Day out.

I have that with The Kid. I used to feel that way about Huge Asshole. And that's it. In over 30 years I've only found 2. Well, that's not necessarily true. I had the beginning feelings like that for Partyboy. True chemistry. We just didn't have time to develope any type of deeper connection. It was almost there. I felt it.

But for now I'll do without. I plan on going out to see The Kid in a few months. I'm gonna have to wait to satiate my cravings till then.

I know I always say that it's better to be the girl they want than the girl they've had. But maybe I should try allowing a man close enough to show me that I'm the girl that they want to keep.  I'll have to work on that.

But not now...I'm still a bitter bitch. I'd rather stick to masturbating.

WCC out.

The Kid - The beginning

Feeling pretty blue tonight. Not sure exactly why. A combination of things I suppose.

I had a long day at work. Every phone call I received was some new drama I needed to deal with. I got bitched at by HR, and had to write an explanation letter to my bosses boss over some payrole bullshit. I rolled out at 9pm feeling like dirt.

One highlight from today was I got to go hang with Glasses. I hadn't seen him at all this weekend so we both had major separation anxiety. He will be leaving in a few weeks out of the country for work. We are both trying to figure out how we are going to handle it. I prefer to not think about it for now.

I think I'm also blue because The Kid is gone. I got to spend 4 awesome days with him. That's a record for us. He was in my town, in my bed, in my arms. And now he is gone again. It's funny, as anti relationship as I am at the moment, I can't help but long for a day he and I can be together. I mean actually together. In the same state. I have fantasies that he has to move out here for work. Or that he wins the lottery and buys a vacation home here. It would take so little to please me. One weekend a month is all I would ask for.

Goodtimes and I were texting eachother the other night. He asked me what was going on between me and the Kid.

"What do u mean?" I text back.

"What are u trying to be or are you just having fun?" he asks.

"We aren't trying to be anything. I mean we don't have a whole lot of choices. He's there I'm here. And like I said, he sort of holds me at an arms distance. Its his way, I've gotten used to it. But I like to think its more then just having fun." geez, am I pouring my heart out to this guy or what?

"I really like him," I continue. "Always have. It sucks."

I wanted Goodtimes to know that my feelings for The Kid weren't about just having fun. I wish we could have more but we do the best we can with the hand we've been dealt.

"Your cute together," he says.

Tell me about it. The Kid and I have so much fun.  We laugh at everything. All the time. There's no fighting or anger or jealousy. We are perfectly at ease when together. I've gone months, hell a year without seeing him but when I do we always pick up just where we left off. Totally enamored with each other...

The Kid was my first crush after I left my husband. I had flown out to be with my family and get my head straight. To say that I went a little hog wild would be an understatement.

The second my feet touched the out of state dirt I was off and running into dating land.  That was the beginning of my double sometimes triple booking dating lifestyle. I partied every night I was there...38 days to be exact...rain or shine. I lost over 10 pounds in 2 weeks from my 22 hour party days. I had a freaking blasty blast blowing though these guys. Kisses for some, a week or two of dating for others. There were 2 that I dated pretty consistently. Pablo was one of them. Pablo is his real name. I honestly couldn't come up with a better one. Well I did consider the name Dingbat, but we'll just stick to his birth name for now.

I remember going out to downtown with my Sister one night. I was supposed to meet up with Dingbat (screw it. It does fit him.) at one of the clubs on the strip. But we hit a small hitch. My sisters boyfriend decided to get into a fight with her right there on the street. To this day we have no idea what he was tripping on. Ok, well maybe I had a small idea. She had been partying with me almost every night for 3 weeks. Guess he had a right to be a little pissed. But what the hell man she was fun and a damn good wingman.

He went storming away after his rant about how they were over. I love what my sister said after he walked away, "Why in the hell would he break up with me when I'm out and looking hot? So stupid"

Why indeed? It was time to get our party on.

We left where he was hanging and headed into another bar where apparently it was 'hot guy' night. I was in heaven. This was a small town and the place always makes me feel like a shark. The boys there are easily confused and even easier to pick off. Just when I was getting ready to sink my teeth into one my sister tells me, "We got to go."

What? Oh hell no.
"Why?" I ask her.

"Because I know my boyfriend. He's pissed and he will probably come looking for me and if he see's a guy even standing next to me he will freak out," she tells me.

Damn it all to freaking hell. I pull out my phone and give Dingbat a quick call. He is partying a few clubs over and I was supposed to meet up with him in a few. I tell him I'll be back in a few hours to catch up with him.

"Ok, lets go" I tell her after I hang up.

We head to a club a few miles away where it is apparently 'ugly guy' night. Nothing but overweight Native American women with mullets and a few random cowboys. This sucks ass. We make the most of it weeding through crowd trying to find atleast a 'maybe' to smooch. We didn't luck out.

Closing time rolls around and I call up Dingbat. He is drunk and leaving the club.

"Don't drive," I tell him. "We'll come pick you up."

My family lives in a state with a painfully high drunk driver mortality rate. My sister can drive stick so the plan is for him to ride with me while my sister follows behind us in his car.

We cruise back downtown and the place is a ghost town. It's now 2am and everyone has gone home. I swear I even saw a tumble weed roll by. Dingbat had told me he was parked near the library so we cruise over that way. I see his blue Volvo on the curb and a band of 5 guys walking towards it.

"There they are!" my sister yells pointing.

We are on a one way street so I quickly cruise around the block to catch up with them. But by the time I get there they are all behind the wheel and driving towards the light. Mercifully it turns red and we pull up along side them. We don't recognize the driver so my sister yells out her window, "Where's Dingbat?"

"In the backseat," the driver says.

"Well pull over, I'm driving" she answers back.

The boys follow orders and pull to the side of the road. My sister jumps out and after a few seconds of conversation with them yells something I don't catch. A few minutes later the driver of the car pops into my passenger seat. Without skipping a beat I say, "hi. put on your seatbelt." and pull away to follow my sister who has already driven off.

The guy who sits next to me is pretty damn cute. He is dressed casually with a baseball cap on his head. We start to chit chat about fast food of all things. Neither one of us can stop talking. We are laughing and having a grand ol time. There is no first time meeting pressure because I have my guy in the car in front of us being driven by my sister and he is sufficiently buzzed enough not to care. Or so I thought.

I come to find out later that the incoherent words my sister had yelled at me were, "It's the wrong car. Dingbat isn't in here!"

I guess when she walked up to the car she had told them to let Dingbat get out so he could ride with me. They all looked at eachother like the Jig was Up. The driver answers back to her, "Um, we don't actually know who Dingbat is but could you still drive us?"
Hilarious. And my sister being the funny bad ass she is says ok, and throws the hot driver over my way. Like I said. She's a great wing man.

So here I was driving behind my sister in the car that she had just car jacked from the driver who I had apparently now kidnaped. And I was ok with it. I introduced myself as Carrie. He tells me his name is The Kid.

And that's how we met. My sister drove around town in his car dropping off each of the cars occupants while The Kid and I shot the shit the whole way. We finally got to our final destination. The last of The Kids friends house's.

"Do you guys smoke?" he asked me.

Yes siree we do! He invites us inside. The pad is cool. Large and with a music studio in the back. We all pile in there and me and The Kid start messing with his friends impressive music collection. After we pop on some tunes the 4 of us take a few hits off his bong.

We stayed at that house for 7 hours. We had so much fun. The Kid and I discovered our taste in the same music, his friend started playing the guitar. We all sat there stoned out of our mines singing Sublime songs and goofing around. Sometime around 4 am I finally received a phone call from Dingbat.

"Where are you," he asks me.

"An after party, what happened to your ass?" I yell at him.

"Oh, we just decided to drive after all, " god this guy is a dumbass,"Are you going to come by later?"

"Yeah, I'll be leaving in a bit." I respond then hang up. I look around the room. They are all staring at me, quiet.

"I'm not going over there," I tell them. We all laugh and turn the music back up.

As the night started to turn into early morning I began to give up on The Kid and I making a connection. For the most part I'm ok with that. I was just so excited at how cool he was. I thought atleast I found an amazing friend that I could hang out with when I was in town.

Next thing I know my sister and The Kids friend disappear leaving the two of us alone. Intentionally I just know it. I'm sitting on a chair and The Kid is standing in front of me. We are both stoned out of our minds and have been zoning out on the Red Hot Chili Peppers songs for the past hour or so.

The Kid looks at me over his shoulder. I look back thinking how funny he is. And that's when he made his move. Six hours of laughs and music and The Kid finally cups my face in his hands and lays one on me.

Yeah baby! I had kissed a ton of guys those few weeks but by far this was the best. The guy knew all my tricks without me having to demonstrate them first. When we pulled away I even said it,"dude you kiss exactly like me."

"I know right?" he replies, and then pulls me up out of my chair so that he can kiss me with his arms wrapped around me.

We spent the next half hour just snogging our brains out. The sun began to rise and my sister finally comes in and tells me its time to go. Boo.

We all walk out to our cars and The Kid pulls me in for another kiss. "You should just come back to my house, " he tells me.

I laugh, " I can't. It's late. Or early. Whatever. Time to go. Next time."

He kisses me again and gets in his car. I jump in with my sister with a big grin on my face.

"Did you get his number?" she asks me.

"I gave him mine, " I tell her.

"Screw that. Go get his too." she says nudging me.

She's right! This is one guy I don't want to have to wait for.

I run back to his car to gather his number and a few more smooches.

We get back to my moms place where I was staying. " How was your night?" she asks me.

"I'm in love!" I told her ignoring her look of disapproval.

"Your not in love," she tells me.

"Yes I am. I love him the mostess," I say again floating to the bedroom to catch a few hours of sleep.

I ended up seeing The Kid almost every night after that. We partied it up for days. I slept there at his house for the remainder of my trip. My family stopped asking where I was. If I wasn't home they knew I was with The Kid.

Leaving was hard. I extended my trip twice to be able to spend more time with him. But alas it was finally time for me to go home and face reality. Leaving that first time was the worse. I've adjusted over the years but I still remember how in love I was back then. I've tapered my emotions down to a strong liking for him. I can't handle feeling any other way. But man, I'm feeling that sadness again right now.

Where ever you are Kid, I'm thinking of you...and missing you...and crossing my fingers that you win that damn lottery.

Bedtime for me. Night all.

The Kid - Day 1

You know you were loaded the night before when you wake up with your 21 and over club bracelet still on...and very little else.

I picked up The Kid from the airport yesterday. I was so excited! I had stayed up all night cleaning my house and prepping for his arrival. This was the first time he had come out to visit me in LA.

I received a text from him at 7am, " We're taking off! Woot woot! What's for breakfast?"

The boy loves to eat...I jumped out of bed to finish my prepping, irrationally giddy.

Two hours before his flight arrives.  I throw in a few loads of laundry and finish up my last minute cleaning. I get the call an hour and a half later. "We're here."

"See you in 20." I reply. Their flight landed early. Damn.I throw on a short fitted dress and a pair of black gladiators. I look at myself in the mirror. Good enough. Besides, I'm pretty sure I already have this guy in the bag.

I cruise down to LAX to pick them up. I get stopped at the check point by LAX security. Naturally. The copper makes  few jokes about patting me down. I humour him and grin along as if I think he is clever and cute till he finally sends me on my way.  Atleast now I know I look good.

I see the two of them on the curb. The Kid has brought his friend Goodtimes with him. I had partied with Goodtimes twice before. The guy was a blasty blast. Super outgoing, down for anything, and a total jokester. This was gonna be a fun weekend.

"What's up ya'll" I yell, and run over to The Kid to give him a squeeze. He is looking super hot in his pancake hat and shades.

"Hope you guys are ready to party LA style," I tell them.

"Lets do this!," Goodtimes replies.

I'm practically hopping in my seat. I babble the whole drive to the beach. I just can't believe he's here! In my car...hell in my city. My worlds are colliding. All these years he has been back in the shadows. Out of state out of mind. But he's here, and its real. I look over and trip out how my California sun is hitting his cutie pie face. He smiles. He looks just like Joey from friends when he smiles. Hot.

We get to our destination, Hermosa Beach. Its the closet to the airport and the boardwalk is a good starting point. Instead of walking up to the restaurant I detour them to the pier. They are loving it. Its a beautiful clear sunny day. The waves look gorgeous even to me. They pull out their cameras and start snapping photos. I'm so proud to show them my city. I'm determined to make this day the best.

After a few I lead them back to the restaurant. I chose Henneseys on the pier. They have a roof top deck overlooking the ocean with glass walls to protect us from the winds. I can tell they dig it.

We grub down and the boys get their party started with a few drinks. Bloody Mary for Goodtimes. Dirty Martini for The Kid. I indulge in a mimosa wanting to fit in and be part of the crowd. Two sips in and I'm already buzzed. Now I just want grab The Kid by his face and get my mack on...but alas, that's not our way. The casual observer would never know that we are together. He and I were friends at first and we still act the same way when in public. As much as I am hating it I actually enjoy the anticipation. Its like we are hooking up for the first time every time I see him.

We finish up our breakfast and its time for me to take them to destination number two. I take side streets and turn off onto PV Drive South. It leads us along the back side of the Palos Verdes hills. Its a lovely drive. On our left we see insane multi million dollar homes perched perilously on the side of the cliffs...To our right, a drop off to the Pacific ocean. Cameras are out again. I pop in my Los Lonely Boys cd and begin to plan out the rest of the day in my head. I'm thinking tide pools in Pedro followed by Sunken City. They are going to trip.

I drive down the backside of the cliff to Royal Palms State Beach. The drive down is steep but offers a great view of whats to come. I hear both the boys gasp in awe. They live in a state without beaches. I can only imagine what this must look like to them. The tidepools are mad cool. The waves are crashing up against the exposed coral and rock. We jump out of the car and I lead them from rock to rock to the edge of the beach. The tide is low and there is plenty to see. Crabs are scuttling everywhere. I force them both to touch a few sea urchins attached to the side of the pools.

The Kid doesn't have a problem but Goodtimes has a small freak with one. I pull out the video and begin to shoot his repeated attempts to touch the sea life. He finally connects screaming like a girl as he runs away from the squishy little creature. We spend the rest of the day telling him that he finger banged sea life.

Both the boys are grinning from ear to ear. They keep looking at each other passing a silent, can you believe this?, message with their eyes. You boys ain't seen nothing yet

We hop back in the car and I continue our cruise down the coast to Point Ferman Park. I park the car in front of the cliff top biker bar and I lead them over to the wall separating the park from the cliff side.

"hop on over boys, " I tell them as I do just that. There is a small ledge on the other side. I lead them to the fence along the side of the cliff and show them how to slip under the man made hole so that we can sneak onto the other side.

We walk along the cliff side for a bit and then they finally they see it. Sunken City.

Back in the day this used to be apart of the city. Streets and houses line the coast until 1929 when the coast began to slip into the ocean. All but two houses were saved but the rest went right into the sea. All that's left now are large slaps of sidewalks and streets. The ground isn't level so the the debris is scattered everywhere. My favorite piece is a huge slab of street about the size of a car that is perched on top of a pointed rock. The entire area is covered in brightly colored spray paint from dozens of taggers that roll through, wanting to mark that they've been here. The end result is the coolest best kept secret in Los Angeles, all sitting on the back side of a town that rarely is driven through.

We continue to take photos and joke around. The grins are still there. We've done alot in the since their plane landed. I'm satisfied with the days tourism. Its been a few hours since our last drink so I lead them back through the hole in the fence and cruise to Ports O'Call to drink up some Margaritas along side the harbor.

We are all having a good time. They trip out on the huge ships docked at the port right in front of our water side restaurant. The sea gulls are annoying the hell out of everyone and we are getting sufficiently buzzed again.

It's getting late so I load them back up so that we can make the trek back to West Los Angeles. They've seen the Southbay. Now its time to show them Hollywood. And LA freaking traffic. They both take a quick nap as I expertly swerve through the mounds of cars. I pull off onto Venice blvd and stop by the grocery so that the boys can buy their booze for the weekend. They are on vacation and plan on being good and toasted while they are here.

Back at my place I begin to make my calls. The Kid is here and I need to gather the crew to help show them a rockin good time. Hippie Chick has a plan in the works as usual and invites us all to tag along.

"Where to?," I ask.

"Ying Yang Twins concert at the Key Club in Hollywood," she answers.

Hilarious. We are so in.

I jump online to try to buy tickets but every site I look at says that they are sold out. I shoot a few texts over to Homeless boyfriend for help. "Don't worry," he says. "There are tickets.

But I'm still worried. My worse nightmare would be for us to show up and get turned away at the door. I text Hippie Chick about the situation and she calls me back.

"Carrie. Don't worry about it. There is two words you need to learn when hanging with us. Repeat after me. Tickets shmikets." she tells me.

I laugh and repeat it,"Tickets shmikets."

"Say it again with conviction," she tells me.

"Tickets Shmickets!," I yell into the phone. Alright. To Hollywood we go.

We all get dolled up for the night and I get another text from HC. "Meet us at the bar."

She means Partyboys bar. Where he is working. Tonight. This is going to be interesting. I mean I know I killed him off but he doesn't know that. I''m going to need to avoid him just in case he decides to have a 'warm' night with me.

I shoot Henny a text to tell her where the meet and greet is going to be. She was trying to ditch out on the nights festivities so I decide to guilt the hell out of her to change her mind.

"I told you The Kid was coming almost 2 months ago! You are not going to make me go to this bar by myself to deal with Partyboy and The Kid at the same time. Now get dressed bitch and I'll see you there." I text her.

She responds with a simple,"ok, I'm there."
I love my friends.

We drive down to Homeless Boyfriends apartment and give them a quick call to see if they are still upstairs. I definitely don't I want to roll up to the bar with my two boys and have Partyboy check our ID's alone. "Were still here, come on up," she says. Good. Glad I called.

We walk up the stairs to the second floor and as we walk up to the apartment door Homeless Boyfriends roommate pops out the door to greet us. He is still wearing what I have to believe is his pajamas, his trademark blue glasses and he is rocking some mad Astro Boy hair. "Hey Astro, whats going on with you?" I ask him, looking into his half baked eyes.

"Long long week. I need to get some sleep.," he tells me.

I laugh and ask if he's heading out with us.

"Hellz yeah," he replies instantly perking up. Got love this crew.

We walk into the apartment and I start with introductions.  Besides Homeless Boyfriend and Hippie chick the Street Artist is also there and a couple of other randoms from the Hipster crew. The room is thick with the smell of weed. Its a party night fo sho.

Astro runs into his room and comes back out a few later in his going out clothes.
"Hey, I got a new rhyme," he tells us excited."I'm calling it Brownies and Benedryl...because that's what I'm on."

I'm guessing he's not referring to the pure chocolate kind.  Astro starts busting out his rap. He is truly bad ass when it comes to dropping a flow and the room is bopping their heads to his song.  A few seconds in one of the hipsters starts beat boxing along with him. Within a few minutes the entire room has added another layer of vocal percassions and the song really starts to take shape. The Kid and Goodtimes are busting up. My friends rock.

I leave the boys socializing and duck into the room with Hippie Chick to help her finish getting dressed. She decides on some black shorts, off the shoulder rocker tshirt and a pair of lace up ankle boots. She ties her hair into a side braid and puts a hippie headband  on her head. We are red to go.

We all pile onto the street and head to the bar. Just then Henny pulls up. The only place to park is a small spot that requires some skilled parallel parking. We all begin to scream and rag on her until she securely locks herself into position. More hugs. The crew is gathered. Its time to hit the front door and see Partyboy.

I'm nervous. I need to make this quick. Say hello and get my happy ass into the bar before too many words are exchanged. Luckily for me The Kid and I are still in friend  mode so I don't have to worry about any hand holding or surprise kisses. Now Partyboy on the other hand...well, with him you can never quite tell what he's going to do.

We walk up to the door and I cut ahead of The Kid and Goodtimes so I can say hi out of ear shot of the two. Partyboy pulls me into a hug. I cut it short and tell him, "Dude, I have your sweater in my car. I'll get it to you before I leave for sure k?"

I try to make it sound cool and on the friend tip.

He responds, "Yeah ok cool, um I wanted to talk to you later too."

Huh? Talk to me about what? My mind starts to race. I mean what does he want to discuss? Maybe he wants to tell me about his girl? But that would be weird. Maybe he wants to explain why he turned cold so quickly? But why bother? We are already done and cool hanging out together. Whatever. I can't talk with him tonight so I just let it go.

I turn around and wave at the boys to follow me in. Partyboy gives them both a quick glance but lets them in without a question. Good. He suspects nothing. I mean I know he and I are done, but I still think its rude to bring a dude here. I decide to stay as far away from the front door as possible tonight.

I show the guys around the bar. Its warm and jumpin in side. We head to the back bar and order drinks all around. I order a shot and the boys get martinis the bars specialty. They both already have a buzz on. We have been prepartying it all day.

Its fun. We are all talking and taking pics and getting our booze on. I know I'm definitely getting buzzed at this point because The Kid is looking yummier and yummier by the minute.

He is sitting on a tall chair against the wall. I lean over and sit in between his legs. I can't help but get a quick flash back on how I had did this very same thing just a few days ago with Partyboy. But this ain't him. The kid opens up immediately and lets me in. I grab his hands and he gives me a squeeze. Hmmm. Better.

Its getting late and Homeless boyfriend makes the announcement that its time to get to the next venue. We all decide to catch a cab to head over to the Key Club for the concert. Great. Now I have to walk back through the front door and Partyboy again. This is starting to feel like an obstacle course.

We get to the front and lucky for me Partyboy is talking to someone. I duck by him and onto the street. Done. I'll give him his sweater later.  I'm too buzzed to engage.

We snag a couple of cabs and split up. The Kid, Goodtimes, Astro and me in one. Street Artist, Henny, Homeless boyfriend and Hippie chick in the other. I place my head on his shoulder as we drive, our fingers laced together. Man I like this guy.

My phone rings. Its Partyboy. What the hell? I turn my phone to silent. Guess he wants his sweater. Too late. I'm gone.
We get to the club in two shakes of a lambs tail. The line is small but we seldom worry about that. Homeless boyfriend and Astro head to the front and give their names and we all head into the club single file line like.

The ground floor is packed, so we head up to the third floor for some room and a no wait bar. Street Artist walks up to me and hands me a red rose. Behind him I see Henny holding a white rose against her nose. "You bought us roses?," I ask him taking the gift.

"Yep," he says grinning ear to ear.

So freaking sweet. I give him a huge hug and kiss on the cheek. This guy rocks.

The music is loud and so are we. The night is an awesome blur. I barely even realized when the Ying Yang Twins hit the stage. The third floor is almost empty so it feels like our own private party. Street Artist pulls Henny and me to the bar and orders a couple of Hennessy shots for the two of us. Man this guy is on fire tonight. We take the shot...and then another. I'm officially drunk.

"So are you still loving my blog?," I ask him.

"Hell yeah,"he responds "dude, you know why its so great? Because its us. Your documenting us, who we are and what we do everyday. Its awesome."

I grin. He's right. I love being the one documenting our lives. Good times.

"So that's The Kid huh," he asks me nodding over in the Kids general direction.

"Yep," I say with a smile.

"Well get back over there, I don't want to keep you from him."
Smart man. I head back over.

Its been hours since I had first picked him up at the airport and still no kiss from my man. I've been determined not to be the first to do it. It's hard. I'm usually a total dude when it comes to these things, so its an effort to hold back my perv.

I walk up to him and wrap my arm around his shoulders and ask, "You having a good time?"

He looks at me and instead of answering he leans in for a kiss. I'll take that as an affirmative.
The kiss is awesome. On a scale from ten to the best he rates number one. Always has.

We pull away to see Goodtimes face planted between us. "Its about freaking time," he yells excitedly.
I laugh and go back in for another.

The Kid is good and drunk at this point. He is not a dancer by nature but he's getting his jiggy on. He pulls up behind me and starts bumping and grinding to the music. He starts to drop it to the floor. I laugh and go down with him. The boy wants to dance? I'll show him some dancing. I start to bump and grind with him with a practiced skill only a trained tahitian dancer can do. The reaction is immediate. Its again makeout time and I'm loving it.

I'm surrounding by my friends and my man and the music is bumping. I'm drunk and getting my mack on. I'm having a good freaking time. Then it hits me. This night is only going to get better because I'm actually going to get layed.

Hallefreakingluyah!  It's been months since I've done the deed. I mean I've fooled around a bit...as you know...but as far as going all the way? Its been a hot minute.

Like I've said, I'm not the casual sex type. Besides The Kid, I've never done it. And I wouldn't really call The Kid casual. Its been 3 years of on again off again good times. No fights, no breakups, no expectations. Just a call when I'm in town and we are a ready made couple. Can't wait to get home...

The concert is over and we all head out. We decide to go grab some food but we are all out of cash leaving us cabless. Homeless boyfriend tells us we should just walk, it isn't far.

Well the man is big fat liar face. I swear this is the longest walk I've ever taken. I'm in booted heels and my feet are not loving it. The crowd gets way ahead of The Kid and I. Goodtimes heads back to the club to join Astro who is interviewing the Ying Yang Twins. So the Kid and I are on our own.

Between my booted feet and his drunken stumbling, we are a hot mess. I'm taking tiny painful steps and he looks like he is playing a game of ping pong with his own body.  It's taking forever and I'm starving to death. Luckily for me about half way through our walk we get offered a snack from our new found stranger friend Scottyboy. Scotty is standing on the side of the sidewalk by himself holding a large cheese pizza.

"help me eat this, please?" he pleads with us.

Well ask and you shall receive mr man.

The pizza is amazing. I wish I would have looked at the box to see where it was from. We are walking down Santa Monica blvd grubbing on cheese pizza on our way to an all night diner. Awesome.

We finish up the pizza and Scotty says his goodbyes. So strange. Maybe he's like some kind of pizza fairy or something. Whateves. Scotty where ever you are, I appreciate you.

I get a text from Partyboy. This boy is on tripping me out tonight. I had shot him a quick text a few hours ago saying,"Sorry man. Drop ur sweater off later. I'm drunk as hell."

He sends a text to me now,"What u guys doin?"

Partying without you.
"Walking down santa monica eating free pizza...we sort of lost the group. Drunk."

He doesn't respond. Strange night. I don't feel like the guy is trying to hook up with me again. I think maybe he just wants to hang. That would be preferred. Glasses and I are pretty close now so I want to be able to be comfortable around his friends. I would love to do the friend thing with this guy. But not tonight. Tonight I have a date.

We finally get to the diner. The whole crew is already assembled at a six foot table. After a few Goodtimes and Astro come rolling in.

We all sit and order up some grub. I'm pretty full from the 2 slices of pieces I ate on our walk up so I just order a salad. We are all laughing and breaking down the nights escapades. Street Artist stands up and taps his fork against his glass.

"I just want to thank all of you for being here. I'd like to thank my food. I'd like to thank the Ying Yang twins for showing us a rockin good time. I'd like to thank West Coast Carrie for what she does. I'd like to thank my parents..." he rattles on. Honestly I don't remember the whole speech, except that it was funny and we were drunk and he thanked me. Best speech of all time if you ask me.

The night is turning into early morning. We all pile back out onto the street. Thankfully Homeless Boyfriends apartment is only one block down. We all pass out hugs and goodbyes and I drive the boys back to my place.

Not sure how I made it. I've had way too much to drink tonight but somehow I get our happy ass's home. I walk into my living room and lay down on my super comfy shag carpet. I would have layed there all night. But The Kid had other plans. He walks over to me and grabs the back of my jacket and with a quick pull says,"Lets go!"

Yes sir. I get up and head off to my bedroom with him. I throw off my shoes and lay down on the bed fully clothed. The Kid comes in and turns off the light. Sorry, once again, this one is for my eyes only.

I woke up the next morning naked with my clothes piled neatly by my head. I can feel my makeup smeared across my face. I probably look like a total crack whore. I pop up and head to the bathroom to wash up. Now I'm grinning from ear to ear. Day 1 has came and went and it was awesome.

I walk back into my room and lay back down next to The Kid. He pulls me into his arms and we drift back to sleep for another hour.

Great day. Great morning. It's gonna be a great weekend.

For My Eyes Only

I think that one needs to be in decent shape before engaging in sexual activities.

I mean, I dance and I work out and all, but sex uses different muscles. Its best if one trains for it. But how is that done? I mean masturbating isn't really the same now is it?

It's been a long weekend and The Kid and I were exhausted this morning. But its our last morning together so when we woke up it was still game on.  No, I'm not going to describe every bump and grind. This one is for my eyes only. But I will say that he started off generous as usual. He made sure I got mine first before moving onto his own moans and giggles.

I rolled over to get on top of him to work my magic. No one does it like a professional tahitian dancer, let me tell you. If I can shake a grass skirt like a rag doll, the things I can do to a man is enough to make you cry.  But man this morning I'm tired. I've been on winter break from dancing so this is totally winding me. But I'm a trooper. I ignore the burning muscles in my thighs and pant my way through it until I finally make the mans toes curl. His words, not mine.

We are heading off to get some breakfast now. I'm getting a bit sad. The Kid is leaving. It was a good time.

I'll tell you all about it tonight when my house is empty and my bed is cold....

Birthday Blast day 4 - Sunday Sunday Sunday!

Day 4 of my birthday weekend has finally arrived. Trust me. I'm ecstatic. I can't party anymore.

Feeling better at work. Just a bit anxious to get to the BBQ. I step out to take my lunch at about 1:30pm. It is beyond beautiful outside. 75 degrees for sure. In January. Gotta love LA. I give Glasses a call to see where they're at. I can hear the crew in the backround yelling for me to hurry up and come down. Screw it. I'm the boss. I'm out.

I go back into work, clock in, give out a few orders, then clock back out. Feels great. I'm out bitches.

I head home to change. I decide on some lowrise, wide leg jeans, 6 inch wedges, and a  green tank with my favorite beige crochet vest thrown over it. I'm totally hippied out. My favorite look.

I arrive at Glasses with the sun still shining high in the sky. The boys are all there except for Partyboy, along with a few additional party goers. PB must still be working. I give out hugs to Uncle and G2....and I even suffer through a hug to Douchebag.  I have a seat and Glasses walks over to the bar to make me a drink. They're watching a football game on the big screen. Uncle is grilling up some steak and chicken. Yum. Finally, a relaxing birthday party.

G2 pulls out his camera and starts flipping through the photos with us. They are hilarious. You can see everyone getting gradually drunker and drunker in each shot. Then I spot something. My fingerless turquoise glove. I keep them in my car for in the mornings when its cold. And its sitting on Douchbags left hand. He is only wearing one.

"What the hell?! That's my glove! When did you take that?" I ask him.

"The night before. I guess I slipped one on in your car." Douche tells me.

"Where is it now?" I ask.

"Well lets see.." he grabs the camera and we all squeeze in to watch him flip through the photos.

Its too funny man. Its like we are playing a game of where's Waldo. Every 2 or 3 shots the glove reappears. That damn thing looks like it had a better time then me this weekend! It finally appears in a photo at his house. Gameover. Good times.

"Hey do you guys want to head up to the Teepee?" one of the party goers asks. Say what? Uh, hell yeah.

I run to grab my sunglasses from my purse as they all start shuffling out the back door. As I rush after them the front door opens and Partyboy walks in. He looks over at me and smiles. I give him a quick wave and yell at the crew to wait up. I'd rather not stop to give out hugs. I have no idea where this damn teepee is and I have no intentions of missing out.

There's a steep hill behind the house. Tall grass, a few trees. And a horribly make shift path cut into the hillside. Did I mention that I'm wearing 6 inch wedges? This is going to be interesting.

I yell over to G2 to help me. Put the beefy to work. Somehow someway I make it up with his assistance and those of a few trees and shrubs along the way. Once I hit the top I see it. A huge freaking indian Teepee. I walk up to the opening and see a small fire pit and a dusty bean bag. The flap is open on the other side to reveal an awesome view of the city. I'd love to come up here at night. I make a note to make that happen another time.

We spend a little time up top goofing around and taking photos. After a few Partyboy comes up to join us.  He walks over to me and gives me a quick hug and happy birthday. I'm still tripping out on him a bit. He's been weird since he got back. Could it be because he just saw his girl? No. I don't think so. He's a ho bag, that I know fo sho. No guilt on his part. He obviously follows the same zip code rule I do.

It's getting cold so I decide to head back down. Glasses helps me and we somehow get to the bottom without me falling down and dragging him with me. We hear a click and look up to see G2 taking pictures of us from the top of the hill.

"I'm going to send these to Psycho Girlfriend!," he yells down.
Ass.

Uncle is slicing up the steak as we walk in. He is setting out two plates. One for rare, the other medium, both beyond delicious. About an hour after we finish eating Partyboy walks over to me and asks me to follow him.
Huh? I thought we were pretending we don't know each other buddy?
Before I can respond G2 asks to see my phone. Whats going on here?
I hand it over and he asks how to put it on Camera mode. What did these guys do?

Then the singing starts. my little rat pack bought me a cake. A cheesecake to be exact. One with a huge penis drawn right above the top of my name. A Partyboy addition apparently. I don't know what it is about this guy and penis's. He's sent me 2 of his in the past and a whole flurry of penis jokes. Anyways, Penis Cheesecake from the Party Guys. Fitting and super sweet.

The day goes on, we talk and drink and laugh about the weekends antics. As the day slowly turns into early evening Uncle and G2 start to pack up to go. They live up north and have a long drive ahead of them. They only stayed as long as they did to hang for my bday. I give them both a sad hug goodbye. "Don't forget to call me and yell every now and again G2", I remind him.

"Count on it." he tells me.

Most of the crowd has headed out my then. Its just me Glasses, Douchebag and Partyboy. Douche and I somehow get into a conversation about the Pauly Shore party. I have a few pictures on my phone so I show them to him. He comes across one of Henny and nearly falls over.

"I'm in love," he tells me.

I don't have the heart to tell this guy besides the fact she already has a man, she also just so happens to not be able to stand The Douche man.

Instead I take the conversation as an opportunity to bond with the guy. I show him more photos of Henny and the rest of my girls. I have tons of photos of my dance group so we have plenty to look at and talk about. It's nice. I'm making an effort to not hate the guy. Honestly I sort of respect his Doucheness. Atleast he is consistant. With him you know what to expect and he is honest with who he is. Unlike someone I know sitting across the room staring at us.

I know that expression on his face. He looks curious and a little confused.  My suspicions begin to take a stronger hold. I know that Douchebag has talked shit about me. It's who he is. I had found out the other day  that the reason Glasses never showed up to the Roxy the night of my birthday was because Douchebag told him it was too hard to get in. Which was complete bullshit. There was never a line. But like I said. He's consistent. Douchebag is irritated by me and didn't want his friend to hang by my side.

I've noticed an interesting dynamic between Douchebag and Partyboy. Douche is sort of the ring leader. Loud and controlling. I wouldn't call him a Party Chaser. More of a, where the hell is the party?, kind of guy. He wants to be the man with the plan and needs a following to feel good about himself. Partyboy is a perfect sidekick for him. Being a party chaser means that he has to be friends with someone who finds the party. Its a perfect balance of give and take.

Well I think that Glasses isn't the only one Douche has talked shit about me too. I'm pretty sure he's given Partyboy an ear full too. I play back the last few days in my head. Everytime it was just PB and I he was cool. When Douche was there? Not so much. I decide to test out my theory.

We are all hanging out on the patio. They boys are smoking. Partyboy is sitting on the wall alone and Douchebag is chit chatting with Glasses in front of him. I walk over to Partyboy and lean up against him in between his legs. Shouldn't be a big deal. I mean I remember just a few nights ago when the guy threw me down into my back seat while everyone was trying to get in to give me a quick mack down.

I see Douchebag's eyes look over at us. Partyboy doesn't react. Nothin.

Motherfucker. I was right. Douche is a hater. I know exactly what happen. This guy is pissed about the other night. He had came onto me hard and I denied his ass. No worse, I denied him, told him I'm into his friend, and then left his ass standing alone on the dance floor. All causing a huge dent in his super sized ego. Partyboy is easily influenced. He is so desperate to be accepted and loved by this group that instead of realizing he already is, he feeds off the bullshit that is told to him like a good party chaser to keep his position in the group.

Ugh. I'm over it. Like I said. I don't ask for much. Just consistency. So much for my attempt at allowing him to be my casual sex guy. What? It could have happened? Yeah, your right. I'm full of shit. I'm a firm believer in being the girl they want, not the girl they've had...but he doesn't know that! What a turn off.

After a few Douchebag makes the party announcement they we all should head over to the W for drinks. I honestly can't think of anything I want to do less at the moment. Glasses looks like he is in the same boat. Partyboy on the other hand is ready to go. Surprise, surprise.

Douche wants to go home and change so I offer them a ride. Glasses says he will change and catch up with us later. I know he's full of it. He and I are so on the same page.

I drive to Douchebags house with Partyboy in the back seat, Douche in the front. Guess the leader of the pack rides shot gun. Once we pull up I tell him to go get my glove. He laughs and runs up to grab it. I turn around to Partyboy. He leans over and gives me a few kisses. Cheap.

"Really? Boring." I tell him.

"Sorry," he says looking anxious to get out of the car. He thinks that Douchebag left him.
Geez. Relax buddy. He's coming right back down. He reminds of a little boy with separation anxiety with his daddy. When did this guy become so unattractive? He hops out of the car and heads upstairs. Later.

Douche runs back down and hands me my glove. I give him a quick hug goodbye through my window and drive off. Its funny, I'm actually getting used to the guy. He's real and easy to read. And a leader. Qualities I can respect.

Its still early and I'm not really ready to head home. I call Glasses back. He's still at home. Knew it. I tell him if its ok if I cruise on back...he gives me the go ahead.

When I get back to his house I do the unthinkable. I let him read my blog. And to my surprise, he loves it. Couldn't get enough. We sat side by side in his room. He read along silently as I resided my blog to him. He couldn't stop laughing.

"Does Partyboy know you do this?," he asks me.

"Hell no! And you can't tell him either. You're now a trusted. Don't get Peter Parker killed man." I warn him.

He laughs. He is having a grand ol time. I guess I would to. He knows these characters. They are him and his friends. Well maybe a cartoon version of themselves but them just the same. Makes sense he's laughing. He's character rocks. Now Creeper on the other hand? Yeah. He is really really hating me now. I might have to change my number. Totally worth it.

I head home after a few hours, having sufficiently bounded with Glasses over some shit talking and cheesecake.

Finally home and in bed.
My 4 days of birthday antics have finally come to an end. Thank you Jesus. I'm totally good till next year.

Oh, almost forgot. RIP Partyboy. WCC is out!

I can hear the ghost of Creeper past...Liar...
